Below is a list of Cwm Taf Morgannwg CHC committees, with a summary of each.
CHC Council (Statutory meetings/**Held in Public)
The Council meetings receive various reports following the CHC monitoring visits to hospitals, GP surgeries etc. along with the subsequent NHS responses.

Local Committee Meetings (Statutory meetings/**Held in Public)
This committee is made up of members of the Rhondda Cynon Taf, Bridgend and Merthyr Tydfil localities who oversee NHS provision within that area. Agendas and key messages can be found here Local Committee meetings agendas and minutes
Services Planning Committee (Statutory meetings/**Held in Public)
This committee is established, in statute, to assist the Executive Committee to liaise with the NHS at the earliest stage of service planning, development, change or variation in their local area. The NHS is represented by the Executive Director of Planning for Cwm Taf Morgannwg as a full member of this group. Agendas and minutes can be found here Service Planning Committee agendas and minutes
Executive Committee (Statutory meetings/**Held in Public)
The Executive Committee's principal role is to oversee the conduct and performance of all CHC activities, to ensure the effective delivery of the CHC's statutory duties and core functions throughout the district of the CHC. In effect this will also entail overseeing the conduct and performance of the CHC Committees. Agendas and minutes can be found here Executive Committee agendas and minutes
Engagement & Scrutiny Group In addition to the above statutory meetings, the CHC has also established an Engagement & Scrutiny Group to exercise some of the Council’s functions. The purpose of this group is to assist the Executive Committee and Council in the planning and preparation of the Councils visiting and engagement activity, to scrutinise the operation of local health services. This meeting is not held in public and papers are not published due to the potential need to undertake unannounced visits in response to urgent concerns.
**The CHC welcomes members of the public to attend the meetings as observers and accept relevant, written questions on any agenda item from our staff, our members or the public. To ensure that we can give a considered and comprehensive response, written questions must be submitted in advance of the meeting (at least three clear working days).

Members of the public may not take part in the discussion, unless previously agreed with the Chair. Where appropriate, the response to written questions will be published with the minutes of the meeting
